Job Summary
Rakuten Advertising seeks individuals eager to take on a hybrid role, focusing on analyzing opportunities for automation and operational improvement, as well as developing quick-win automation solutions. In this role, you will understand and guide key improvements for the company, often spending months with teams to deeply understand their processes. You will use this knowledge to shepherd projects through the automation lifecycle end-to-end, or analyze and document processes, propose solutions, and collaborate with automation, engineering, and operations teams to deliver efficiencies and insights across the company. You will work with global teams to discover and implement improvements aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing Business Cases: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand process requirements and identify automation opportunities. Conduct detailed analyses of processes, workflows, and systems to assess feasibility and potential for automation.
- Document processes and solutions across various teams, geographies, and tools.
- Develop RPA solutions (low complexity): Build and configure RPA bots using relevant tools and scripting languages.
- Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring timely achievement of goals.
- Develop a deep understanding of teams and processes to develop suitable solutions.
- Refine methodologies to ensure successful deliverables and support ongoing capability development.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences (at least Upper-Intermediate English level).
- At least 1 year of experience in system analysis and/or development, with a focus on RPA solutions. Hands-on experience with RPA tools such as AA, UiPath, BluePrism, PowerAutomate, Excel Macros (VBA), or similar. Python experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex processes and design effective automation solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global environment is advantageous.
- Good planning, time management, and resource balancing skills.
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, with good multitasking and organizational skills.
- Understanding of e-commerce systems and online advertising experience is a plus.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience with online advertising is a plus.
