Job Summary

This role involves maximizing sales & profitability by leading and executing Swissport’s global and regional sales plans for the country. It includes coordinating sales and commercial activities, ensuring compliance with policies, and managing all sales & commercial activities to meet revenue, sales, and profit targets in collaboration with the country commercial teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop short, medium, and long-term sales strategies for the sub-region.
  • Advise on policies related to pricing, yield, contract negotiations, pipeline development, and sales targets.
  • Monitor sales and manage the new business pipeline using appropriate systems.
  • Contribute to sales development, customer retention, advertising, and pricing strategies.
  • Propose and implement new sales plans to meet organizational sales and profitability goals.
  • Oversee business development, bid preparations, proposals, and agreements.
  • Manage daily activities of the Commercial Team aligned with overall sales strategies.
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Coach teams on pricing, negotiation, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Manage tender processes and coordinate with finance, operations, and HR.
  • Ensure profitability of new bids and share insights with relevant departments.
  • Develop sales plans for countries and airline customers in line with regional and divisional goals.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Key Account Management experience
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
  • Leadership in multicultural environments
  • Proven results and negotiation skills
  • Industry knowledge
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight as required
  • Attention to detail
