Job Description
Position Activities
- Maintain automation systems, prepare technical documentation, perform software programming, testing, and commissioning at customer facilities.
- Perform offshore field services and systems engineering for process and safety systems, HMI, instrumentation, networks, etc.
- Design moderate to complex architectures for new projects and analyze existing systems for intervention.
- Manage development stages of automation systems: requirements gathering, detailed design, software programming, factory testing, and commissioning at customer sites.
Requirements
- Experience as an Industrial Automation Maintenance Engineer with Rockwell Automation products in the oil & gas industry (PowerFlex, Drives, Logix Platform, Trusted, Advanced, PLC development, industrial components, networks, etc.).
- Experience in field installation and commissioning of automation systems and networks.
- Previous experience in oil & gas automation projects or related fields.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
Education Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Technician in Industrial Automation, Electronics, Electrical, or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
- Mandatory: Good knowledge of Rockwell Automation products.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- CREA certification.
- Residence in São Paulo/SP region.
- Availability for offshore work: on-call for 14/21 days depending on the project.
- Experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Knowledge of industrial networks including Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, among others.
- Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
- Ability to work under high pressure conditions and face-to-face with customers.
