Boeing Brazil is seeking Entry Level Electronic Systems Design & Analysis Engineer , reporting to the Avionics Team Manager, at the São José dos Campos office

The Entry Level Electronic Systems Design & Analysis Engineer will join the Boeing Commercial Aviation engineering group being member of the Avionics team to support Radio Navigation Systems development activities in several different platforms, including legacy development programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and documents complex electronic and electrical Radio Navigation Systems requirements.
  • Authors and peer reviews Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and System Safety Assessment (SSA) documents.
  • Provide inputs for certification plans and author certification deliverable documents.
  • Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
  • Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
  • Monitors supplier to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

This position is hybrid / telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
  • Must have a degree in Engineering
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia – CREA).
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Knowledge with Avionics systems.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, with degrees in Aeronautical, Control and Automation, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Knowledge with Radio Navigation Systems
  • Knowledge with Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), System Safety Assessment (SSA), and ARP4761 Safety Assessment.

Relocation:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
